The Bright Plugin is generating a “cannot resolve host: bright.aura-software.com” error

Our WordPress server is generating a message like:

connecting to the bright server: "Could not resolve host: bright.aura-software.com".

Could not resolve host is a message generated by the curl package that the Bright plugin for WordPress uses to connect to Bright.
This message means that the DNS [domain name servers] configured for your host failed to respond with an IP address for the configured Bright server.

If the problem persists, you should contact your DNS service provider [potentially your ISP].
