In the e-learning context, launch is process of a learner starting their learning session with a content package, aka a course. In SCORM or cmi5, the launch is given a unique ID in the LMS and tracking data is associated with the unique launch.
Within Bright, a launch is typically initiated by the learning click a "launch button", which has special meaning in Bright templates.
