Bright Server

Bright Server is another name for the Bright Web Services Layer.

This is the "back-end" of Bright, serving API requests to Bright clients [like web-publishing frameworks, or browsers] via restful API.

It also has its own web-accessible console, where are a variety of administrative functions and reports are available.
