I have a user who wants to change an email address. What do I do now?
Depending on your platform [Drupal, or WordPress] and how it has been configured, a user can initiate a change in their email address by themselves.
What about existing SCORM Cloud registrations
Changing the e-mail addresses in SCORM Cloud is technically possible, but it does open up some complexities.
Bright integrates with SCORM Cloud via the SCORM Cloud API, so documentation you see online it's best to stick to the API solutions referenced.
We can simply change the email address in Bright. Changing it in SCORM Cloud requires special API calls that we will execute on your behalf.
Since once you change the email address in SCORM Cloud, you have the non-recoverable effect of "merging" the data between the old and new email address, we choose to do this by hand and with a certain degree of care.
